AhlulBayt News Agency: With the unveiling of the Arabic poster of the ‘Living with Verses’ Quranic campaign, the event began in Lebanon.
The poster was unveiled in a ceremony attended by Secretary General of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem, the public relations office of the Islamic Development Organization reported.
Also present were Quran reciters, memorizers, and activists in Lebanon.
In an address, Sheikh Qassem emphasized the importance of reciting, contemplating, and memorizing the Holy Quran, and described utilizing Quranic concepts as one of the most important ways of understanding and being present in today's battlefield of the Islamic world against the world arrogance.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Haj Abolqasem also addressed the ceremony, explaining how the living with verses campaign began in Iran.
He said it was formed with the aim that the concepts and logic of the Holy Quran play a more prominent role in people’s cognitive system.
The Iranian seminary and university scholar added that since the beginning of this campaign, popular groups have tried to pursue this goal with their Quranic, content, artistic, and media productions, and nearly 13 million Iranians actively participated in this campaign during the holy month of Ramadan last year, which shows the attachment of the Iranian people to the concepts of the Holy Quran.
He concluded by saying that the holding of the campaign in Lebanon, which was made possible with the efforts of Hezbollah, is considered the first step of this Quranic movement in the international arena.
“We hope that the blessing of the Quranic concepts will be a guiding light for all believers on the path of resistance and struggle against arrogance.”
